Is the geyser making a clicking noise?
If not, it might be the batteries. make sure that you employ Energiser or Duracell. They last for a minimum of 6 months - counting on usage. Check the battery box - remove the batteries, feel if the spring connection isn't broken.
Is it possible that you simply have never run out of gas?
You might have a vacuum lock if you've got recently replaced the gas cylinder. Remove the gas pipe from the regulator and open the gas cylinder for a couple of seconds. Close it, and reconnect the pipe, and open the cylinder.
We often encounter faulty ‘new’ regulators. Your regulator should last for 3 years. A faulty regulator restricts the gas flow and therefore the geyser won't ignite thanks to insufficient gas. Buy an honest quality regulator.
Do not buy unknown gas cylinders. You get tons of them at specialized prices. The gas in these cylinders features a lot of impurities (your flame is going to be very yellow/orange and not blue) and gas geysers are sensitive to having the right gas mixture.
If your geyser isn't making a clicking noise
Check that your water pressure. Water pressure from boreholes pumps can fluctuate which can prevent the unit from switching on. you'll therefore need a pressure pump to stabilize the water pressure. to see if your water pressure could also be too low, turn the water adjustment knob on your geyser totally clockwise and if there's no clicking sound the cause is presumably insufficient water pressure
It could even be the batteries
There is a filter within the water inlet pipe within the geyser. If this filter becomes clogged it'll restrict the water system so the unit won't ignite. If you reside in a country or your water is supplied by a borehole, clean the filter every now then. Unscrew the water inlet pipe, remove the filter, clean and replace it.
Geyser cuts out?
Have you gone a flue on the geyser? Some brands require the utilization of a flue to extract the warmth from the unit which can prevent it from overheating and switching off.
Check batteries and water pressure
Water fluctuates between hot and cold?
Do you have a mixer unit on your taps? A 16lt or higher or a forced fan will solve this problem. If you've got a smaller unit attempt to set your unit at the specified temperature that's hot enough for you that you simply don't need to add cold water. Your cold water pressure could be too strong and it feeds the water heater into the geyser causing it to modify off. you'll also fit a non-return valve between the geyser and therefore the hot taps.
In certain areas during summer, the water coming into your geyser is going to be too hot. Set your temp as low as possible. Gas geysers operate at optimum from cold water and can't regulate the temperature when warm water is fed into them. Older models have a summer and winter setting. Change it to the winter setting.
Water goes cold after a brief time?
Ensure that no other hot taps are opened whilst you're within the shower. the recent water then supplies to outlets which causes the cold water to become more dominant. Standard battery-operated gas geysers can supply many shops but just one at a time. If you would like to provide two outlets at an equivalent time, rather have a glance at a continuous flow gas geyser or a forced fan.
If none of the above – kindly Hire a Professional for Gas Geyser Installation in Pune. A gas safety check must be administered on all applicable gas appliances every 12 months and your installer will then issue you with a replacement COC.
